Questions
Will my photo be accepted?
PassFirst checks your photo against the published US rules for size, head height, eye position, background, light, focus and expression. Final acceptance is decided by the issuing authority.
Do you retouch my photo?
No. The app only crops, levels and resizes. It never smooths skin, applies filters or replaces the background.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Every check runs on your phone. The only network call is the purchase, which goes through the App Store or Google Play.
My wall isn't white. What now?
The background must be plain white or off-white. The app checks it and tells you if it fails. A door, a sheet of poster board or a bright wall near a window works.
