PassFirstPassFirst Privacy Policy
PassFirst ("the app") is made by Nimbusfold. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your photos never leave your phone, and we don't collect anything about you.
Your photos
- Every photo you take or pick is processed on your phone. The face detection, the checks against the official photo rules, the cropping and the print sheet all run on the device.
- No photo, face crop, face measurement or landmark data is ever sent to us or to anyone else. The app works in airplane mode everywhere except the purchase step.
- The app never edits your face. It only crops, rotates to level and resizes.
- Photos you unlock are stored in the app's private folder on your phone so you can save them again from "My photos". They are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can delete them all at any time in Settings.
- Photos you save to your Photos app, or share, are handled by your phone and the apps you choose, not by PassFirst.
- Work files from a photo you did not unlock are deleted when you start over or the next time you open the app.
Accounts
There are no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Purchases
Purchases are made through Apple's App Store or Google Play and processed by them. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to confirm purchases. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID and your purchase history (which product, when, and the store transaction ID). It does not receive photos or anything about your face. We never see your payment details.
Analytics and ads
The app has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking. It does not use your device's advertising identifier.
Permissions
- Camera: to take your photo. Frames are analyzed on the phone and are not stored except for the photo you take.
- Photos: to import a photo you pick, and to save your finished photo and print sheet when you ask.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and describe the change in the app's release notes.
